Worth it?
Yes if you are a fan of classic Sci-fi or TD games you will find this very much worth it!
Also if you like TD's with extreme challange, the harder settings may suit you fine! xD |

If I had tried the demo before today, I might have bought the game full-price. Tower defence with nice additions and a cheesy 50s sci-fi story. What’s not to like?

If you're looking for yet another tower defense game, I suppose it's worth picking up.

Sorry, this looks interesting. But the "add to my backlog" price is $2.50.
Maybe next time. |

Easily worth it for those 5 bucks. If you liked Defense Grid i think you will likely enjoy this game. I am still in the beginning tho...

It's tower defense with a twist (quite literally). There are tower defense games I enjoyed more but I found this still to be one of the better games of its kind.
What really sells it though, is not just the 50's SciFi setting, but the brilliantly cheesy and funny movie cut-scenes. Well worth the price of admission and more! |

Who is the Unstoppable George?
Why won't he stop? Where will he end up? Does his wife know what he's doing? |

The gameplay is a 'decent' tower defense game which is well worth a play, but not up there with the finely-honed masters of the genre like Defense Grid.
The story is fun (if peripheral), and there's a decent amount of content, such as a survival mode (labelled arcade) and 40+ different unit types all-told, each detailed on its own encycopedia card. You can beat the campagin without too much trouble, even on the toughest difficulty setting, but you'll have fun while you're doing it so I'd say it's worth the asking price. And you can always come back to try and get all the medals / beat all the challenges. As for criticisms - checkpoints would be nice! I don't want to replay all the 'set-up' waves just because I messed up my ring orientation on the final assault. |

The only thing I missed was some kind of message telling you how to scroll the cards.
It took me longer to find out that you have to use the mouse wheel to scroll them down than finishing the game. |
