Connection problem

1.I not changed anything ( os/settings/configurations,how i said i not changed nothing to be more exactly )
2.I not installed any new firewall/antivirus
3.My pc is clean .

I waiting for some reply .

Same here. Purchased something, worked fine. Wanted to play TF2 and got error. Must be something with the servers. Just wait and try again.

Maybe,but is a little strange .

3 mates tell me this after i asking about steam .

( works perfectly,i don't have any problem with steam )

I'm in a very similar situation; steam says I am offline (no connection) yet, when I'm on the store page on my browser, it'll say "Friends recently brought" and list online friends who have brought a game/played a game recently. This is very weird since I can connect perfectly through my iPod.

i had exactly your problem before to reinstall the steam but after i can't to skip the error of the screen .

Edit:

I try from my laptop and is works to get in ( on the steam ) but i'm still offline,works to browse on the community/groups .

Edit 2:

I thing is about our accounts and where are hosted,this explain why other people not had problems .

I try with other network connection/operating sistem and i'm still offline,so only this explanation remaining .

But i still want a exactly answer from some moderator,adminstrator,technician or a programmer .

Wtf,now are more strange .

I try with some random user and password,and what you think ?
still this error ...
steam is having trouble connecting to the steam servers

i have the same problem since 7 hours ago, i just cant login anymore, i reinstalled steam, tried to logins using another OS, i checked firewall and router and nothing happens, valve, don't tell me users account info was stolen.

I don't know man maybe you're right maybe not,but you know what is funny,if i say something offensive to valve immediately appear moderators .

Steam had some announced downtime yeterday. Make sure you're subscribed to the downtime announcement thread so that you're up to date. If you have questions about a downtime, please use the downtime discussion thread. Remember to check the FAQ in that thread, as well.

Nothing to do with Steam Community, so this moves to the Help area.
