Shotgun bug!

Hello everyone, maybe this bug has already stated here on forums, but anyway it seems that the devs don't want to fix it, so again. It's a minor bug, but quite annoying.

So, here it is: sometimes, when I pick up the shotgun (even from a dead guy I just killed) I can't see its model! Look at this:

http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/8...tarena0000.jpg

This is happening ONLY with shotgun. When I press "Q" button 2 times (changing weapon to another and then back to shotgun), I can see its model again. This bug is quite old (some years probably) so I'm asking when will it be fixed?

Hope the devs will hear me, thank you in advance!

I've had this happen with the AR2 as well.

I personnaly think that I shouldn't try anything, because the game must be without any bugs, including this.

It is never going to get fixed so you have to do work arounds. It happens due to switchign weapons too fast, I had a script that could reproduce it easily.
alias vanish2 "lastinv; wait 5; use weapon_shotgun"

Much like the RPG last rocket bug not following the laser you have to wait an extra second until you see the laser then fire the RPG.

Why? So the devs don't care about their games? This is really bad I thought Valve are perfectionists...

Well, it actually uses the updated orange box engine now. Pretty sure that was within 5 years.
