Spellforce:TOoD, Money not converting

I bought Spellforce Universe the other day and thought I would start with the first game "The Order of Dawn"
I just cleared Eloni and noticed that my money has not been rounding up like I would expect.
According to the game 100 copper = 1 silver, 100 silver = 1 gold, but for some reason I now have 220 silver and 12,000 copper.
Does the game not convert coin types automatically, or have I got bugged?
Is there a known fix for this?

It happens to me too, but it's merely a cosmetic bug. You can buy things that cost 10 silver using 1000 copper.
