Turtle Beach X12 problem

Hey, a little more than a month ago I got the Turtle Beach X12's. They have worked amazinly until yesterday while listening to music on iTunes the sound quality dropped horribly. It was slightly distorted and a lot quieter. I checked my cables and everything and they were all properly connected. Then I checked the cable that connects to the left cup of the headset. I moved it slightly and the sound quality and sound went back to normal. I let it go and the sound became crap again. Can someone help me with this? If i can't fix it then would I be able to get a replacement from Gamestop? I bought it on Feb. 14 2012.

EDIT March 26:
I sent in a support ticket to Turtle Beach warranty, I hope they let me RMA it D:

Well, if you bought warranty with you're Turtle Beach when you bought it, yeah you should be able to get a replacement.

You could always find a way to permanently move it to the sport where the sound quality and sound went back to normal, as well.

I believe you have a 1 year warranty from TB themselves upon purchase. I believe it's from TB or from best buy...can't remember

Well I sent in a support ticket to the warranty center, but in the mean time in case they don't accept it, any ways I could fix it?(I won't open it up unless warranty denies the service)

I tried doing that again but I can't find the spot that made the sound normal again D:

If there is a defective cable connection, you can't fix it without opening it.
