Phys-X Woes
I'm having the phys-x issues documented in this forum, but all the fix links are expired, can someone please re-upload or direct me to an active download link?

You talking abut the extra files missing from the current version of PhysX drivers but needed to run this game?

Well I have the game retail as well as on Steam and have the 2.5.2 engine file from the disc. Don't know how I can get the file to you though since the U.S. Gestopo shut down Megauploads.
I simply don't understand why it's so hard to include this file in the current version of PhysX.

Don't even get me started on the feds overstepping their bounds on file sharing, anyhow, try sendspace.com, it's yet to give me any problems.

The NVidia website includes an older PhysX SDK software supporting 2.8.1 and below. I'm downloading it now to see if it works with Infernal.

I just began to play this game some and had to remove the existing NVidia PhysX install I had, and installed the Ageia version that was in the infernal game directory.
Plays fine on the W7 64-bit, i5, mobile radeon 67xx system I am presently using. There are maybe other ways to coax a modern NVidia PhysX to work with old games but this was the path of least resistance for me.. Especially since I have nothing else requiring PhysX installed. |
