Luxor 3 won't work with Vista64 or Win7-64

Luxor 3 was never designed to run on a 64bit machine, either with Vista or 7. This was the reply from customer support!

Well I just fired it up and it's working for me on Win7 but I have the retail version of the game and I don't know if that makes a difference though it shouldn't. However 7 Wonders 2 and Luxor2 as usual still won't run and thats regardless as to whether it's retail or Steam.

Luxor 3 works fine for me on Vista64.

Odd. I've played with fine on Windows 7 64bit. Perhaps try running as Admin? Did you turn off UAC?

It's not launching at all for me on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Looks like it's going to launch, but nothing actually shows up. Tried validating game files (all 35 MB worth, heh) and re-installing.

7 Wonders 2 and Luxor 2: No joy for me either using Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, 15GB RAM, i7 975, GeForce GTX 295. Maybe if I decrease the ram size it will work, like Act of War, but I would hate to have to do that each time I want to run the game. :/ I even used compatibility mode as admin for all users and still a no-go. (All updated drivers etc)

wanted to see if this was the case for me too since I haven't tried playing any mumbo jumbo games since getting windows 7

Win 7 64bit Pro

Luxor 3 launched, plays, changes resolutions and goes into windowed mode. Played a few levels, everything running smooth.

Hi... i bought luxos collection and resolve problem with this.

copy file steam.dll (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam) to paste luxor 3, luxor AR and luxor 2. (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps) try open the game click in file .exe, program will create a paste data, now go to steam and try to play now.

Luxor 2 not function.
