What possible reason could there be for wanting to remove it?

I can see how griefers would want it removed.

i dont even know how the block thing works. I mean, if i join a server, and everything is fine, why should i get kicked when a person I blocked joins the room? Or if thats not how it works, then what happens if yo ublock so many people, that there are hardly any servers left

You won't get kicked, they can't join. And if you have blocked that many trolls, then it's better the game dies off anyways instead of providing them a feeding ground, because they'll have outnumbered the honest player pop.

It's not the normal "servers need to get updated to the latest patch" thing that is causing people having a hard tome to find a server to play on.

This time they actually broke something, many people can't even join or create lobbies.
