HDD for gaming

hello guys iam using WD 500gb blue cavir ,so iam looking for upgrade i want to buy new hdd so i want some suggestion abt WD green cavir 1TB is it good for gaming.iam upgrading my hdd cuz its has no space so i just want to separate my games form my 500 gb ,is green good for gaming or what !!!

From my understanding, Green drives are slower 5,400 RPM drives.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

All western digital green drives are slow and not meant for gaming, your blue western digital is much more suitable. If you want to see the slightest of increase in loading time speeds you need to get a western digital black drive, and since you already have blue it's not really worth it. What I suggest is to either save up for an ssd and put your os main games on that, or get a 1 tb blue driver or up (not green) and put your games and os on that because it will be faster, because it has been less used. Then use for 500gb drive for storage.
