Way to remove on-screen button prompts?

So I don't know if it's just me, but on the lower right side of the screen, the mouse and a couple of keys are ALWAYS displayed, except during cut scenes...is this normal? I can't imagine why it would be, it takes up valuable real estate and doesn't tell me anything I don't know...don't see any in-game options to remove it.

Anyone have any ideas?

Oh, and I recently installed the unofficial xbox patch to make the PC buttons show up as XBOX buttons, and it works great...except not in the lower right corned I have xbox buttons that won't go away!

Yes, the button configs is always displayed.
Because in later parts of games you must switch your abilites mapping pretty often

Ahhh! Ok thank you.

Cause right now it's just empty buttons...But if it's gonna be filled with useful info than that's fine.

I honestly thought it was a bug!
