Going to be running a legit office Server.....
Hey guys,
I'm looking for some information about running a CS server for my office. I remember playing CS in beta and we thought it would be cool to run a server for the office so that we can just connect to it like a huge lan. I of course want to do this legit and am willing to buy 20 copies of CS and everything, but I have no idea where to get started on getting the information on running the server itself. Is there anything speical that I need to do to take Steam into account? Is CS 1.6 server software all I need? or are we still in CS 1.6....? Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me. =) Dagerr |

For lan games, I think that just having one of the games running a server through the New Game option in the menu is enough. Other games should see the server under the lan tab in Find Servers.
Good luck with it, someone else might help more |
