manditory changelog for even small updates

as title

its frustrating starting steam, seeing an update download, and having no idea what is being downloaded and why.

even a simple "fixed stuff" would be nice.

on another note, if we could get a change log section in the news to accommodate the number of change logs.

The client has change logs.

Some games get patched without a manditory changelog punblished which is something I'd support.

I've seen plenty of updates get downloaded, go to the news page to look at the product updates, and not find any posts, or the information I'm looking for
these are often tiny patch fixes.
If I'm lucky I can go to the forum and someone has already asked the question and a person from the game company has posted the answer.

Some companies are great, but many are lacking in this area.

Many times we (the end user) are just left in the dark.
