Weird Lag Problem
Starting a couple days ago I've had trouble with my TF2, no matter what my ping is (It's usually around 20, with almost no deviation from this unless I'm running a lot of background stuff) I've been having really bad lag issues. Not lag as in people teleporting around and hits not registering, but my TF2 will just stutter, or freeze for about two seconds. This happens about every thirty seconds, and seems to be related to how 'busy' the game is getting. (which has the lovely side-effect of making me freeze up when I go in for a kill almost every damn time) My ping seems fine, and this only started about a week ago, does anyone know what some possible sources of this would be?
Appreciate any help. |

I've been having this too.
I nominate that we use "hl2.exe stutter lag" for its name; it feels exactly like hl2.exe has stopped wor-wor-wor-wor except it doesn't actually stop/ |

I know exactly what you mean, it's just like that, where everything stops and you just hear the last second or so of sound on a loop.

I get lag stutters every so often too.
Not sure why, never happens on anything other than tf2. |

Spent weeks trying to troubleshoot this issue, came up with nothing. Tried some many 'fixes' even installed a old Sound Blaster Audigy card to see if that changed anything. Nope.
