Dying

So, one of my characters died. What happens now? Is there any way to revive him or do I have to reload and see that he doesn't die (which is, in this case, the easier way; I just want to know if dying is ultimate in this game)?

If you can find a life stone (there is 1 every level) you can revive all dead party members.
