What made you buy the game?
So, what made you, in the end, decide to buy nation red?
Me, I was jarateed at steam about a month ago because I had recently bought an expansion pack for dungeon defenders, and the download kept getting suspended. I uninstalled the game and bought nation red (just to test steam downloads, and expecting maybe an hour or two of fun) as I heard it was a lot like crimson-land, only better. I got hooked to nation red and I've been playing it for far longer then I expected myself to! |

I am a great fan of zombie games and tend to buy almost all zombie games I can get my hands on. Since Nation Red is a game where you shoot zombies.. how could I resist?

Support only, I wasn't looking for a new game at the time and just happened to come across this one as it was on a deal, I visited the forums and seen the dev was active daily and other players were saying it's a great game and getting improvements so I decided to buy it.
Once I played it I thought it was great, hectic but fun too. For one dev it's the best supported indie game on Steam I think! |

Loved the demo (this was back when the demo was actually just like the game)
NOTE: not saying I don't love the game now. Still love it. |

I was interested in the game a couple of years ago, but couldn't get the demo to work properly (the game would launch, but I just had a black screen with the UI).
Fast forward to this year with a new laptop and the free weekend and I was hooked. Thank you Snow for your amazing support for this game. Looking forward to the "big" April update. I try to recommend this game to people whenever I can. |

It was at the bottom of the page of another game, you know those "You May Also Like" things.
I read about the game for a bit, and everyone was saying good things, so I tossed it in my Wishlist. A month or two later I bought it, probably during Christmas but I'm not sure. It's been almost exactly what I thought it would be; I'm not disappointed. Last edited by Plumb_Drumb: 04-12-2012 at 08:02 PM. |

General zombie murder and the promise of a Mac version. Latter still pending. Last I heard it was on the verge of release. Played a couple dozen hours and want more, but it's such a hassle rebooting for it.
On a mildly related tangent, dungeon defenders sucks, well the Mac version does. It doesn't get past the logo splash before crashing. Good thing I didn't pay for it. |

Came to this game by a recommendation of a friend and stayed because of the constant updates/caring dev and the Achievements.
