No I mean stuff like this:

Pretty sure that the nodraw texture is rendered black in game (or white, or a bluish color.) The above is a dynamic reflective surface that mimics the textures around it. No Draw won't do that obviously, since it can't be drawn.

Please put me in too!

I have a great idea for a whole series of maps! It's pretty much going to be either an unofficial sequel to Portal 2, or an alternate reality game of the same basic premise, and this would really help me get it going! Besides that, if I haven't already shown it from playing Portal 2 so much, I LOVE testing!

I've tried making chambers in Hammer before, but I was never quite able to work the more esoteric parts of the editor, like planning inputs/functions. However, I was able to learn quite a lot about how the source engine works in the process.

I've worked with Hammer a little, I worked on a L4D2 survival map that was never finished but made progress.

(Yes, I did use sketchup for the basic level outline)

Well, I wouldn't mind testing out the Level editor.
I have some experience with Valve Hammer.

Here's the first and only level I've ever made in Valve Hammer:

Oh, and my profile link: http://steamcommunity.com/id/Trickboss

Will the final version of the puzzle creator be paid or free?

Hi. My Steam name is The_Mega_ZZTer, my Valve friends!

I am not a regular Hammer user, used it a bit some time ago but never really made anything with it. From what I've heard I am very interested in trying out the Portal 2 tool, though.

As for other qualifications, my TF2 backpack has many hats.

Hi I was wondering if there are still spots available for testing the dlc and if so who should i ask?
I know i'm a little late to the party but I don't have a pc so i have to rely on my brother to let me use his for as little as an hour a week . I haven't released any maps mainly due to this handicap but I am currently working on a very big map pack possibly with custom models though I haven't decided on that yet.

Please let me know I expect I am too late but I figured it's worth a try.

We're steadily expanding the beta and are soliciting a variety of users. We started with a small set of existing Hammer mappers, are in the process of adding more, and will eventually expand to include non-Hammer users that we believe will be diligent in providing feedback and bug reports. This is as good a place as any to apply, I guess, so if you're interested just drop your name here and we'll periodically take some of your names to add to the queue. If you've published some good Portal 2 maps, feel free to link them here. Fair warning: beta key handouts are at our discretion and this isn't a formal first-come-first-serve queue, just a place to put your name in the hopper.
I am RJackson, one of the founders of The Portal Wiki (and staff on other Valve-related wikis). I'm by no means an expert of Hammer or the Source engine in general, but I have dabbled in many aspects of them both and feel I could competently relay feedback with regards to the game & Puzzle Creator. So, here I am registering my interest.

I would like to try the beta. I don't have much experience in hammer, but I have played around with it a little.
