Dead Space 2 on Intel HD 3000
So my friend recently gifted me Dead Space 2 on Steam, a long time want of mine. Excitedly, I downloaded it immediately before realizing that my graphics card wasn't high enough quality. As the title implies, I have an Intel HD 3000 graphics card with an i5 processor - not incredible, but I'd think it could run Dead Space 2 without an enormous problem, albeit at a low quality.
I looked it up, and I saw some people run it supposedly on an Intel HD 3000. It looked like it was a bit laggy, but it played nonetheless. However, I didn't even get the option to run it - just a black screen and a message informing me that my graphics card wasn't strong enough. So, just a quick question, SPUF - is there really a way to play Dead Space 2 on an Intel HD 3000 graphics card, and if so, how? Thanks for any help you can lend me! |

I can play the game fine on an HD3000 at medium settings so it does work. I'm not sure why you get that message though. Maybe try updating drivers?
