Earthquakes add atmosphere!

First one scared the hell out of me! I can't help but pause in fear now when they happen incase I'm about to die or run into something.

I get the feeling this is some sort of forshadowing for the end of the dungeon. Or possibly it's supposed to be something about the machinery? Either way, it's a simple little touch that adds a lot!

That's my best guess so far is the dungeon is coming to a possible permanent end.

The one dream says that this wasn't supposed to be a dungeon and "they" changed it from it's original purpose.

they cause cave ins and cut off paths if your taking too long... I haven't had one yet that cut an area off so there was no way to access it though

Aww man really!? So thats three areas that have been cut off to me so far.... And im only 5 levels down.

I only take so long because I want to make sure I didnt miss anything.

That is actually not cool at all, a time limit in a dungeon crawler puzzler, its just not right :/

The quakes don't cause cave-ins. The blocked off areas are part of the normal level geometry and are there regardless of any quakes. There isn't any time limit except for the potential for starvation.

Yep I asked on their forum and the blocked off passages all have ways around them, no part of the game is lost by earthquakes.

The first time an earthquake occurred I'd just clicked a suspicious looking brick. "Whoa, what did I do?!"

Had two earthquakes happen while playing both times I was like OMG WHAT NOO O_o

Great atmosphere!!! Dang, this game is good

Yeah, the first time it happened to me, I started freaking out thinking I had triggered a trap or something and rocks were about to fall on me

Also, the dreams during rest are a great touch adding to the already great atmosphere.
