I'm in favor of this as well. I'm getting sick of M$ and without the need to have windows to play games I would have thrown it from my HDD ages ago.

Check this Kickstarter project out: Vigrior

A message from the developers:
Quote:
Linux and Mac OSX; Part of our porting efforts include these operating systems! Linux is close to our <3, and Macs? Yeah sure, bring them along, Macs need better games anyway We've decided to use some time during this kickstarter regimen to port to these operating systems, we make no guarantees, but we want you know that we are doing our best to fit the engine for the Penguins. :P
For Flibit: maybe we could start a list of Kickstarter projects on the wiki?

maybe we should add this link to the OP?
http://steamlinux.flibitijibibo.com/...kstarter_Games
it's up-to-date now.
peruse the list, and consider pledging to the ones marked "In progress".

Sorry about the downtime today, apparently Dreamhost has some more technical issues: http://www.dreamhoststatus.com/2012/...er/#more-12918

Not sure when they started having so many issues with downtime, but I suppose I'll have to deal with it for now.
