Can't find Portal or Portal 2 in my computer

Basically, I need a new computer and I want to transfer my Portal and Portal 2 games onto a USB Stick before anything can happen to them. However, when I search my computer, I can only find the internet shortcuts, in the Steam folder. Can someone tell me where the actual games are located?

I bet I'm just being stupid, but if you can help anyway, that would be great. Thanks in advance!

Look in the Program Files\steam\steamapps area. Some may be in the Common folder, others in the \yourname\ folder.
