[Suggestion] Radio voices

Okay so this is my list of ideas for the radio commands. Please enjoy and give feedback on them.

My first though is that depending on the player model you are you should have a different radio voice. So they'd be a different for every faction and then also different for each character model.
No it's not completely neccesary but is it interesting and modern? Yes.

My second though is different sounding radio commands per situation.

E.g:

Caught in gunfight - Radio commands are more shoutey
Walking- Whispering
Not in gunfight and generally moving - Normal

What are your guys thoughts on these?

I like it, especially the part about different voices per model/player.

I still prefer voice comms, but this may encourage the casual player to get a headset.

Nice idea.

It's a very good idea actually, but i think it's really tricky to walk and press radio command, well atleast for me :P

Unnecessary. I don't really like it. Maybe the part about the different situations could make it in tho.

But naaa. Would take too much time and increase the number of GB it takes up.

I don't think it'd take up that much. Certainly not GBs.
A few MBs is more accurate.
Each radio sound is about 40KB Judging by CSS.
There's 27 radio commands at most.
There's roughly 36 charachters if we assume there's going to be females per concept art.
Then there's three variations per factions.
Then three different situations for charachters to be in.

So (27x36x3x3)=8748 (This would be MB if Sounds were 1MB each but they're not so..) /1024=8.55 *40= 341MB.

Then there's some compression involved in NCF's making the downloaded files/space taken up smaller. I'm going to assume it compresses it to about 100MB.

So really not alot.

Whats with these kids always speaking for Valve saying "Nope, reason is because it'll take Valves time and resources.". That isn't even a reason, it's an excuse and you don't even have any info about it. I like this idea and support it. If possible for Valve they should do it, and hopefully they will.

I was thinking the same, I like the idea it`s a good one. Having different accents for each character is a modern and trendy thing could be tricky too, because the accents can be annoying and frustrating for some guys, I mean the GIGN is french and the GSG9 is german, I dunno if it will sound good for our ears.
