Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Installation Failing
Tried 3 times not and getting same error.
After downloading and installing the update, computer reboots and once it's back in windows i get the message saying the installation was not successful. ERROR_PATH_NOT_FOUND 0x80070003. I've tried disabling my anti-virus and it didn't help. |

Maybe not related, but do you have another boot loader like grub ? I had the SP1 refusing to install if windows would be launched via grub installed on another disk.
I avoid installing two o.s. on the same disk so a simple solution was to boot directly to windows via F8 (Asus board) and selecting the right windows disk. Strange but it worked. Last edited by Qixky: 04-13-2012 at 07:13 PM. |
