Yep, it was an out of keys problem, solved itself with time.

This must mean there is indeed a solid playerbase?

I haven't played for a while, but I very rarely had trouble finding opponents (though sometimes finding someone within your own skill range can take a little longer. But hardly ever more than a few minutes.

I only played ranked btw (custom searching, not automatching). I hear lobbies are popular too.
