Bad design - unskippable tutorial and unskippable cutscenes
If you're going to have an unskippable tutorial, and unskippable cutscenes, then don't make redoing/rewatching them the price for failure.
The Cronus ship was destroyed so I have to rewatch the opening, and replay a whole lot of "how to target things" tests before getting to the actual bit where a swarm of enemies takes out a capital ship? At least put a save point before that happens. |

You can't save the Chronus. Just keep after the fighters. The Atlas is the only cap ship that survives the ambush senario of the prologue mission.
Get the hang of targeting, locking on with missiles, using afterburn to close distances and 'match speed' to finish off rapidly with cannon fire. Missions 1 thru 7 will have checkpoints. ![]() Remember that you can always dock with the Atlas if you get too beat up or want more missiles. |

Something's wrong then, because it failed me when the Chronus was destroyed.
