DRM system?

Hi

I just wondered if the Steam version of this game has the broken DRM system that the review at Gamespot warned about? I once bought a game with that system (Silent Hunter V) and vowed never to again.

Thanks for the info
/Jason

I can live with the uplay launcher, but not those systems that require a constant Internet connection for single player games, like SH5 did. They eventually removed it from SH5, after the disasterous conequences it led to. Does the Settlers series use that system?

Yes. It uses the same "internet only" system that Diablo 3 uses. Get used to it. That is going to be the standard soon.

Does the game lag like Diablo3 does?

They will be removing the always on connection from settlers 7 so it looks like it isn't going to be the standard soon.
