Aerocache Event: Twice the Fun from April 18 until May 17

Catch up on your Aerocache hunts! From April 18-May 17, we’ll have two Aerocaches of the Day each day in order to ensure that players in all time zones have a convenient time to find and get credit for the Aerocaches that didn’t save before the May 16 title update.

Just to make sure, don't forget to follow up on the last bug fix before assuming that everything's working perfectly now.

This post regarding the bug fix has some new replies with some concern that the aerocaches of the day might not be saving properly even with the bug fix implemented. I'm waiting on the next ACotD to show up so that I can try to verify the fault.

Are all the ACotD that we didnt get before the update was released going to be reunlocked for all the players that werent bugged? Or are only the players that were bugged going to get credit for the re-releases?

The new aerocache don`t show up in the tracker. It says no Aerocache selected.

Anyway the Aerocache is there if you are able to find it without detector. But in the near of the aerocache i got terrible stutters/lags, same reported from 2 other guys i spoke to.

Wow, make that three. I thought that I was the only one that couldn't select Iao Valley's aerocache of the day. I remember picking it up before the bug fix came out. Is it possible that you had the same thing? This aerocache was right on the flight route for the Hawaiian Photo Book mission.

We changed Iao Valley since it wasn't working. Thanks for the link to the issue thread -- sending it to some of our devs now. :-)

AM UTC - 3PM UTC is not the same it was on 23-Apr Monday.
But you said it is same cycle just turned around for am and pm.

Additionally todays Aerocache koolau Range is not at Koolau Range. The Cache is misplaced 15nm south of it oO

Are you sure? AFAIK that range makes up almost the entire eastern half of Oahu Island.

Took me a bit of flying around to find the aerocache as well because I expected it to be 10-15nm north of where they put it.

The Ko'olau Range is 37 miles long. It consists of the long ridge running down the entire eastern side of Oahu.

"15 miles south of it" would be well out over the ocean.

Is the event prolonged? We already have may 27th and there are still daily aerocaches.

Daily aerocache are in fact "daily". What ended the may 17th is the "TWO aerocache a day" time, in order for players that had problems saving them before april 18th can get their 'losses' back

Well, that is MS said would happen, but reality differs.

As Held says, the previously missed daily aerocaches are seemingly ALL available now. So, "daily" they are not.
