Honestly, it's a damn shame this game died out.

Even with the lack of maps and no variety in the way of modes, Extermination is definitely one of the most entertaining multiplayer experiences I've played in recent years. If only more people played.

Never really got to play multiplayer.
Obviously bought it after it had passed it's best days, so the multiplayer was already dead at that point. :/

What's that game mode about anyway?

It's basically TF2's attack/defend with 3 nodes but with the attackers being humans and the monsters being the defenders. The control points need to be defended by the attacking team for 20 seconds (I think it's that much) before, and if the point is damaged enough by the defending monsters the timer is canceled. The medic isn't mandatory, though it's highly recommended.

I finished the SP today, and I'm actually very interested in the MP. Would like to play some matches :P Haven't tried to search for matches yet, will try later. But it sounds like I'll get disappointed.

It's a damn shame this game is $30 at the moment. I beat the single player and I would gladly purchase it on Steam if it was $15 or less. Oh well.

I'd gladly purchase it if it was available to purchase on Steam in Australia. Hopefully I can find someone to trade with when the Winter/Christmas sale comes along as I've played and finsihed the singleplayer campaign before and it was quite fun.
