[Unlock Idea] Caffeine Shock!

Good day fellow SPUFers!

So I came up with this (possibly horrible) idea of a new Scout unlock and as the title suggests the item in question is a highly caffeinated energy drink! As such it could be a new flavor of Bonk! or even something new but we shall put aesthetic questions aside and focus on how good or bad the idea is. Stats are as following, whereat numbers shall be seen as placeholders to balance pros and cons out (given the idea isn't total garbage):

The Caffeine Shock!
Level 10 Energy Drink
Increases movementspeed by 30% for 6 seconds
All damage taken are minicrits

The Scout will be engulfed in an effect similar to the one given by the Disciplinary Action during the 6 second period. When finished the drink will take 24 seconds to refill, which is indicated by a bar (the numbers - other than the movementspeed increase - are the same ones used on Bonk! Atomic Punch and the Crit-A-Cola).

A side note: The basespeed of the Scout is 133%.

Inventor's thoughts:

The general idea behind this is that the scout gains ludicrous speed and must in turn risk getting oneshotted due to the extra damage he receives. It should be a tool of scouts that like to stay in fights by using their acrobatic skills, making them truely untouchable while maintaining the deadliness that comes with scouts in close quarters combat. However failing to stay out of the enemy's weapon range will be heavily punished. This idea can also be found in the Crit-A-Cola but this new unlock trades high burst damage with high mobility, making it more versatile in other areas (maybe by drinking it while holding the intel, or better circlestrafing around sentries) but less effective in what the Crit-A-Cola excels so it stays viable.

So what do you have to say?

lol instant #1 choice for competetive gameplay.

I think it would be overpowered. There are plenty of situation where you just know you won't encounter any enemies on your way. So it would be just free speed boost for an already spastic class

Bear in mind that you also lose your pistol when equipping it. As far as I know losing the secondary "auxiliary/self-defense/emergency" extra damage is the reason most competitive soldiers won't part with their trusty shotgun. This may also be the case with competitive scouts (I do not know for sure).

If it will follow the trend of scout drinks there will be a drinking animation, which will leave you standing still for a little bit over 1 second, so you technically have 6 seconds more speed but you have to subtract the 1 second you could have moved with normal speed if you not had used it.

Maybe the downside could last longer than the actual benefit you get and/or it could also decrease damage done by your primary. Making the scout a spastic red/blu shadow is kind of the point of this unlock.

This is like, almost the same. Glad to see that the idea is not just a piece of madness created by my odd mind.

Honestly, it's not that usefull. You're already the fastest and most mobile class in the game (barring B4nny), there's honestly no need to get any faster.

I dreamt up the idea that drinking a bonk while crit boosted should increase your speed and set you on fire for the duration. You're still immune to attacks, but taking burn damage.

Perhaps scale back the speed some and add in a bonus like faster attack/reload rate. Interesting idea, seems like it would be worth it to at least test.

Make it only available after you kill one person so scouts can't rollout in 3 seconds
