TF2 Orange Box Question

I have a TF2 Premium account.
I am buying a retail copy of the orange box to get HL2+Episodes
it has tf2 So when i activate it do i get The Proof Of Purchase Hat on tf2?

In the weird way the World works i have somehow got a TF2 gift through Steamgifts.com.
Would i get that hat for activating it?
