Does the original Doom 3 CD and ROE CD work on Windows 7 64 bit home premium edition?

Yes, although I don't have Win 7 HP 64bit any longer I played both happily for several months on such a system.

EDIT: Sorry missed the CD's in your post I was referring to Steam Release, I'd say you should still be OK though.

Doom 3 and RoE (retail CD/DVD) work fine on Win7 x64.
Just make sure to update the games with the latest official patch.

Steam version works just as fine

For retail games you'll need to patch them with latest 1.3.1 Patch. 1.0 (right after install from CD's) does not work on Vista/7 for many people.

Worked fine for me on a 64bit edition of Windows 7.
