Bizzare display issue

I just bought this game and after about 1-2 hrs of gameplay I encounter this strange issue where my display becomes "off-centered" (kind of hard to describe). Its as if my display is shifted to the right, and the right side of my display is wrapped around to the left side of the screen. Even after exiting the game the issue persists and the only solution is a reboot.

Interweb searches have turned up no mention of this issue. I started with the latest 12.3 ati drivers so I rolled back to 12.1 and I still have the problem. GPU temps never exceed the low 40's C and I run far more intensive games at max specs with no issues.

Relevant system specs are:

Sapphire 6950 2GB @ 6970 specs with 12.1 drivers

Athlon II x4 630 @3.3 ghz

6GB ddr3

win7 64

650w psu

I tried taking a screenshot but the screenshots look normal even when the issue is present (this may indicate something, I suppose.) I run the game at native 1920x1080 with all graphical options on, including post-processing. The game runs at a brisk frame rate with no other apparent issues.

Anyone else seen anything like this or have thoughts on what the cause may be? I tried reverifying the cache files, not that I expected that to make a difference. Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes, when it happens the display is still messed up even when quitting to desktop, rebooting is the only way to resolve it.

I went in CCC and disabled any forced settings and set everything to "application controlled"

I played for about 3 hours today without the issue so maybe that did it
