Volume adjuster

I'm voicing over Skype a lot with people and when I want to watch a trailer, I have to either mute the trailer or turn the volume down (since the sound is quite loud and I want to watch in the background), but then I can't understand my friends.

It would be cool to be able to adjust the volume of the trailers you're watching on the Store Page of a game.

in windows 7 u can lower sound for steam app lol

This has been a fairly common request over the years, and Valve continue to ignore it. Perhaps they're waiting for the next Steam build before bothering with it?

Every video player on the net allows for volume control. Why doesn't Steam? Especially now that you're starting to sell movies.
