sins on mac

hey guys, dont know if any one can help, BUT, i downloaded sins demo for pc to try on wine, just the demo, it all fired up and ran fine in its standard resolution, when i upped the ress to maximum still ran fine but my mouse cursor needs to be lower than the actually button i need to press.
like if i need a menu button or to highlight a ship i need to point much lower on the screen than where the ship or button is? any ideas
