Steam/Valve doesn't support dedicated server?

It's a joke the update which's required to run an own server on pc to appear in serverlist, is not automaticly given.

After I used hdlsupdatetool, and it said it's up date to, it still fails and rquires an update.

Not to mention I email'ed support, reading here in forums 'bout such threads and all I see is no solution, for MONTHS or even years? I mean wtf is up with that? it can't be so hard to upload the required files, or update the hdlsupdatetool.

It would be even a solution to make masterserver ignore the version of the server, or accept atleast the previous one.

You rly think I'll go ahead and buy any newer game with such a support? Sometimes I like to switch accounts and go for CSS or CS1.6 and no support on this is ridicolous as well as poor and just a fcking NOGO!!!!!
