Hey guys,
Got this game in the steam sales recently, although im unable to play it because theres something wrong with the sound. I can hear sound but its laggy, for example i shoot and dont hear the noise until about 2 seconds after. Then when i exit the game back to windows the game must crash just before it quits because i get a sound loop which does not stop until i restart the computer. Its only in this game i have the issue. I have tried adjusting all audio settings in the game,Nothing has worked. My system specs if they're needed. Quote:
Appreciate any help.

Hi!!
I played many times in Windows XP, Vista x86 and W7 x64 Bloodstone without audio glitches my sound card is a X-Fi XtremeGamer Pro. Since you have an Asus Xonar D1 maybe is not necessary to ask but do you have the latest drivers for your soundcard? Second I don't know if Xonar D1 has a Game mode but if has try to switch mode. My last recommendation try to run the game .EXE in compatibility mode with Vista or XP. Or take a look at windows audio settings sample rates etc... to see if something works. |
