can anyone help me where or how do I get a papermill

To make paper you have to be at the Patrician level. That is when you get a paper mill. Unless you doing the mission or a scenario that is when you get it.

There are 4 level of people in the northern islands & 2 level of people on the southern islands.

Northern Islands: Peasants, Citizens, Patricians, & Noblemen.

Southern Islands: Nomands & Envoys.

To unlock the Paper Mill, you'll need at least 940 Patricians.
Paper production needs only wood and the Paper Mill can only built on a River site.

Thanks for the reply, I've got 1775 Patricians and still I can't unlock the papermill any Idea why please

Can you show a screenshot of the build menu showing the papermill. There is something that you might need that you are over looking. Plus put your mouse over the papermill too.

All you have to do to take a screenshot is hit the "Prt Scr/Sys Rq" button. Then go into your Documents / Anno 1404 / Screenshot.

Than you have to join a online photo site like photobucket or Imageshack.
