Steam Users' Forums account being banned for no reason

Hi there, I am using a freind's forum account as typing this.

For some reason, my steam forum account is banned when I tried to link my steam profile to my forum account a min ago. And I was alerted that the reason of the ban was pumping thread even though I have not posted anything since March 2012. What exactly is going on? Is this a work of some incompetent mod? Do I need to e-mail steam support to solve my issue?

You need to PM a mod that did it. If you don't know who did it, PM any active mod. See the top of the article here.

Probably meant "bumping". A "pumping" thread is for an entirely different forum.

He probably means 'bumping'. And most likely it was bumping a Trading Thread since for some reason when you enter the Trading forum you have to reduce your IQ by a factor of 10 since no one can apparently read nor follow the rules.

Probably will if you use them to get around the 1 thread creation per day thing on the trading forum. (or 20 posts per day)
