Help finding a graphics card

Hello I'm helping my friend build a computer and he wants to be able to play games, like League of Legends and Battlefield 3, and he wants them to run smoothly on decent settings. Gaming isn't going to be the main thing, but he will do it enough for a decent card, so I was wondering what do you guys recommend, I'm not great at picking out cards. Thanks.

What is desired resolution?

And what is desired general graphics quality? (Low, Medium, High, Ultra)?

More importantly what is the budget?

He says he's okay with medium settings, but the higher the better. His budget is 100-200(the cheaper the better). His res is 1920x1080.

Then probably either a 6870 or a 560 Ti.

As above, either a 6870 or a 560 ti. There's a comparison here and there's not much difference between the two cards.

You could get the EVGA 01G-P3-1561-AR GeForce GTX 560 Ti FPB (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card for $199.99 after mail-in rebate card

Or (I'd go for this one for the 2GB of RAM as oppose to the 1GB on the 560 ti)the : XFX HD-687X-CNFC Radeon HD 6870 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card - $189.99 after mail-in rebate card

Need some PC specs his psu may not be up to the task at hand, without this info you may be asking for trouble..

Complete specs would be great...

This is required before any suggestions can be made.

Stated is 100 - 200... pennies? Yen? If it's a dollar, which country?

His steam profile says USA so I presumed. . . .

Quite right on the specs but as he said he was helping a friend build a computer and only specifically asked about a GPU. . . .I figured he'd already have that covered, but best to make sure
