more importantly, ITS GOOD

like for real, one of the very few good free games on steam, it needs the advertizing, altough its been going well since release, 3rd most played F2P game right now

however this brings the question

who the ♥♥♥♥ plays Stronghold Kingdoms?, i obviously know people who play TF2, i know people who play SMNC, i know people who play APB, CrimeCraft and even Spiral Knights, but i dont know anyone who plays Stronghold Kingdoms, and its the second most played F2P game

Dota 2 not counting of course since its not released

I will not add games announced like free but with limitation ingame, as capped main content

*** Free to Play games (and any other free game available on Steam) will only be listed if these games does not apply basic restrictions for players that does not realize micropayment, as aggressive level cap/cut, restricted main areas or access to essential features, like main questline progression, basic trading or chat system

if you werent aware, Everquest 2 has a lot of restrictions for free players.

if you play EQ2 for free, you can only play as 4 races and 8 classes (out of the 12+ races and 25 classes)

you can hit the level cap, but have no access to latest end-game content (you need to buy the last 2 expansions for that. the only 2 expansions that arent free).

you cant access the auction house. you cant talk in public chat channels.

you are limited in game to low-quality gear, a money cap, skill caps, inventory caps, quest log cap, etc.

Split the post into two.

Also, EverQuest II should be moved from the list into refused list as they have severe limitation on free users. At higher level you have to actually pay money to pick up item drops of high quality =/

• Shorten store front links using the appid BB code.
• Shorten the forum links to the useful topics using the thread BB code.
• Remove the install and checkout links if the game, DLC or mod can be downloaded via the store front.

I realise you probably won't like the 3rd option, but isn't it a bit overkill to give three(!) links for each DLC?
