How is the trading?

So yesterday a CrimeCraft tab appeared in my inventory and I was wondering how the trading works for this game.

First of all: is the game alive and well populated? Looking on this forum it seems no, but there isn't a direct link from the steam page to here so maybe this is the main reason.

Which items would be traded the most? Useful items (like spiral knights) or only appearence items (like team fortress 2)

Is there a form of currency that is tradable? How can this currency be obtained? For example in TF2 there are metals (obtained by playing) and keys (obtained by purchasing with real money) and in SK there are crowns (obtained by playing) and CE (obtained by playing and by purchasing with real money)

Any idea on the possible ongoing rates between this currency and the other games currencies?

I'm also interested in this information after seeing the new tab pop-up. Installing the game now, so we'll see how that goes.

I had the game installed during the winter sale,i remember finding it quite easy to master,since in my first match i went on a 10 kill streak.
But heck,at some point i must have uninstalled it.
There was a way of obtaining cash through playing if i remember well,something like APB if you ever played it.
Also you could sell your creations,much like it in APB.
Long story short,if you ever played APB,youll get your way in this game.
Just more easily.

I have been wondering the same question ever since it appeared in my Inventory, as a fairly diverse trader specializing in TF2 and SK cross-game along with just plain tf2 trading. It intrigues me and i believe could be a fairly reliable source of income.

Same here.
Sadly I don't see how it can become a source of income, because:

1) not enough players
2) as far as I understood, you can trade only items, not currencies. Can you image TF2 trading without metal/key? or SK without CE/crowns?

Not sure about the trading, but the game is really good. I've already played it for 12 hours and really enjoy my time with it so far.

There are 3 ways of obtaining stuff:

1. You can craft it.
2.You can buy it from other players with $ which you earn from playing.
3. You can buy it from the black market with gold bars which you buy with real money.
