Can't watch videos - flash issues?

Since a few days ago, I'm unable to watch videos from STEAM. There's a message about installing flash and I follow it to the letter, but it doesn't change anything. I've even tried different versions (for IE, for other browsers, 32bit, 64bit...), no luck.

What could be the problem and what can I do to fix it?
