Non-360 Pad Support
Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a way to get a non XBOX 360 Pad working with this game? |

x360ce is probably the better way to go if it works. XPadder doesn't give you analog control.
x360ce makes a non-XBox controller emulate an XBox controller. XPadder makes makes a controller emulate keyboard input. |

So does Logitech Chillstream gamepad work with this game? I am planning to buy this game but it would demand that I get Co-Op mode working with keyboard+mouse & gamepad. The gamepad is XBox360 kind and is detected in many other game with XBox bindings correctly.
Gamepad is this http://hardware.teamxbox.com/xbox-36...am-Controller/ |

Will both players be using the same computer? If so, note this from the readme: > In order play multiplayer on a single computer in the > Lantern Run or Shadow Hunters game modes, you will > need at least two Xbox 360 Controllers for Windows. This would seem to imply that you can't play co-op with a combination of one controller and the keyboard/mouse. Maybe the game only works in one mode or the other. Maybe there's someone here that has played co-op on a single computer and can answer for sure. FWIW, you can view the readme using the "View the manual" link on the store page for the game. |

There's only a few games I can think of that had their XInput support implemented incorrectly and only support MS brand XBox controllers - notably Assassin's Creed 1 and 2, which out of the box only work specifically with wired MS controllers - they don't even work properly with MS brand wireless ones :\ I had to use x360ce to an official MS wireless 360 controller emulate a wired one just to get it working with those games - so dumb. |

Playing this game with a non xbox360 controller is possible through xbox360ce. However, some buttons dont work as of yet. The problem has been submitted to the projects google code page (issue 280) and is already worked on.

Not the most helpful answer, but I would invest in a 360 Pad...
The amount of trouble I have had trying different Gamepads was too much So I found a cheap one for around £9, havent looked back since
