If you liked UFO XCOM...

If you liked the first two games of the (orginal XCOM) series, you will probably like this one too. It has a modern interface, is much easier to use and not as much fun as the orginal (no idea why) but it is really a nice game.

I think, this is a must for all X-Com fans.

I'm actually playing through Apocalypse right now after having played Defense and TFTD back then.

Picked up the UFO trilogy last week with the 1C pack on GG. Great price that was.

Will probably move to UFO trilogy after Apocalypse ^^

And then pray the new Firaxis X-Com is worthy.

Yes Apocalypse is not half bad I think everyone should give it a chance.

It's pretty good but the camera drives me crazy. Already ragequit a couple of times because of this.

anyone tell me what games are part of this story line there seem to be so many games ppl refer to when talking about this game I am not sure which is the prequel to this game I read Aftershock and Aftermath are part of it but its not on steam so not quite sure.

UFO:Afterlight is the 3rd game of the UFO:Trilogy. Prequels are UFO:Aftermath and UFO:Aftershock. However, you don't really have to play these games to enjoy UFO:Aftelight. All you need to know is Reticulans (Greys) invaded the Earth. If you are interested in these games, you can purchase them on GOG or other download purchase services. It should be noted that Prequels are somewhat simplified version of Afterlight (For EX, there is no manufacturing in Aftermath AFAIK) and quite unstable. Also these games are limited to low resolution.

yes, the autocamera is a supreme annoyance, but thankfully one with a solution:

top right of the ui on the battlescape is a camera button. default is 'auto' - set it to 'free'
