I agree it's lame but it's not the end of the world.

no graphics options, except the ing extra, so no medium or low, that was a no no for me. this port

Did you hit the configuration option that shows up in addition to "play game" when you go to launch it?

I don't know about you guys, but the menu is totally ed for me. It uses F and E for confirm and back, and then 1, 2, 4, and D for left, up, down, and right. Nothing else works, and it's definitely not set like this in the control config.
I'm using a Logitech G15 here, but I've never seen an absurd problem like this before.

I'm using a Logitech G15 as well and it's WASD and Shift and tab for me.

I rebinded shift to be the "Omni Button"™ (aka Shift roll cover) and tab the Focus button.

Probably your alluding to the fact that the "Omni Button"™ is "broken" for Binary Domain, but works perfectly fine in Mass Effect 3.

The only valid complains are:

-lack of FoV tweak

-lack of native 16:10 res (horizontal borders)

-shoddy M+KB controls (no way to disable mouse accel, weird mouse movement, etc)

everything else is either trolling or a case of "PEBKAC"

At least fire up the config tool before making a thread.
This. Most of the threads could be replaced "Hello, I'm really dumb and/or trolling for page views".

IIRC people asked sega to port it after it was released. it wasnt originally going to have a pc version

Unless you are talking about the gap between the Console and PC version. That is not a delay. PC version wasn't even considered until AFTER the console version was out. Thus production didn't start until the after the game was complete and thus never delayed.

The last time I saw a Sega published game along these lines was Obsidian's Alpha Protocol. I loved that damned thing, lumps and all, but it was a mess that never saw the first shred of support of any kind.

Thus far, this seems to have all the hallmarks of "just get it out and move on." Hope I'm wrong.
Sega is a console publisher at heart (sadly).
In console land thats how things work, release it and move along.
I hope Sega would shift towards PC development, they have talented dev teams that put their hearts and souls into their games.

Last but not least thanks for the Alpha Protocol tip, im new to Steam and missed that title, just bought it now after reading your post

umm alpha protocol was a terrible game ahaha and on top of that got really bad reviews across the board so yeah you cant compare binary domain to that game in anyway, i just want to be able to play this game regardless, like just fix the controls, gfx options and voice recognition then its all systems go but until then i cant play the game due to failure

Alpha Protocol was certainly not terrible

Obsidian are way too underrated

I enjoyed Chaser more than Alpha Protocol.
But AP was better than the demo let on.
