Steam avatar quality! (New idea)

Hey.
You're probably a bit tired of these threads going on about the avatars.. Well, why wont you let us use our own steam cloud storage space to upload an avatar of higher quality (PNG, JPG 100)? It would make the Steam Community site so much better.

If your intended avatar image is of a poor quality, regardless of image size in bytes, I don't see how increasing the upload image size is going to help.

There is also this to consider, if the majority of Steam users' were concerned about this then I am most certain that Valve would increase the upload size for an avatar. Until then, I fear there will be little response to this request from the Valve team.

Why not have a look at the Offical Game Avatars, there are plenty to choose from and the quality is decent.

I'm talking about PNG support, even the Offical Game Avatars looks cheap.
There's loads of people who wants this, thus they don't use the forums at all.
