Call of Cthulhu DcOTE launcher problem

Hey.
I have a problem with this game.

Everytime I try to start the game, the launcher just keeps showing.
when I press OK, steam loads the game again and the launcher shows again and again.
anyway to fix?

Sorry I thought you meant Cthulu Saves the world not the other Cthulu game... sorry

However my general point still stands. Go to where the game is installed and look for a redist folder or something. Try to reinstall any components like vcredist or dotnet and such. That's a common issue with many games.

You have to go into the directory where your game is install. Then maybe look for a redist folder or such. Then try to manually install all the extra things the game tries to install. I can't help beyond that because I odn't have the game so I don't knwo what it tries to install.

You may have better success in the sub-forum for the game.

I have that game. I took a look at it's files and didn't see any redists but it does have 2 launchers,one of them indicated as 32 bit. Try launching both directly from within the folder, Program Files(x86)/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Call of Cthulu/Engine.One of them, or both, should open the settings window with a launch button.
