Any ways to make Steam count the time played on added games?
What the title says.
I use this feature a lot since I like to talk to my friends while I'm on whatever game and I also take screenshots. But steam doesn't counts the amount of time played on added games. So my question is if there is a non-official way to do this? |

Valve only wants to offer such a feature for games on Steam. Non-Steam games probably never will get such a treatment. Why provide such stats for games that Valve never sold to you?

you can add those to steam the reason why valve doesn't do that because it's an added bonus to buying on steam. When you buy a game on steam the steam features such as time tracking is an added bonus, If they let you have time tracker on any game you ever add to your library that you didn't buy on steam then that removed some incentive to buy from steam |

Don't worry about that and download XFire, it does a much better job.

I would say that Raptr does an even better job than Xfire. It tracks your achievements and playing time for PC and Xbox 360. You can also import your Xfire playing time into Raptr so you don't lose those hours if you're hesitant to start over.
