Fable: The Lost Chapters performance issues (running slow)

So the problem Im having is that no matter what the graphical settings are (even if I take everything down to minimum, resolution included) the game is "laggy" as ****....The game works perfectly in cutscenes, and when im not moving around, but the moment I try to move or even turn the camera around, the game turns into " lagfest" All my drivers are up to date, and re-installing the game doesnt help either. Also tried to shut-down virus/firewall software to see if that was the reason, didnt help.

My computer specs:

Windows Vista 32-bit service pack 2
AMD Phenom 9550 Quad-Core 2.20 GHz
4GB DDR2 RAM
ATI Radeon HD5770

O_O You're computer should be more than able to handle the game. Try adjusting the video settings and lowering some of them, and see what happens. Try taking Anti Aliasing off, as that usually is the cause of Frame rate issues.

Like I said, tried to take all settins to low, AA off, adjust them, tried everything possible, but for some reason it doesnt help at all =/...the game runs just as poorly on lowest settings as it does on highest settings. And like I mentioned, the strangest thing is that when Im not moving around/turning the camera around and during cutscenes, the game runs perfectly....

Adjust

Does an ATI card have a sort of "Control Panel" like a Nvidia card?

If so, try going there and revert everything to "Application Controlled"

Game runs fine for me.
I got everything in application setting on CCC.

I don`t think I`m using a high resolution tho... 1900x1200 won`t do anything for this game anyway. So I got it on 1440 or 1680 or something.

Perhaps there`s something in the background stealing ur gpu`s or cpu`s?

I don't know if you're still having the problem, but I had the same issue, slow framerates regardless of settings.

I re-installed my graphic drivers and that sorted everything out. Runs absolutely fine now on max details (as you'd expect for a game this old).

If it worked for me...

Try closing down some stuff before launching the game like iTunes, Twitter clients, web browsers and so on.
