Strange Shortstop
I know what I'm going to be using from now on:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/60691951/gabe/Untitled.png Assuming perfect accuracy and firing intervals. Scattergun, are you even trying? |

Failure to account for key damage and time intervals.
Allowing for combat beyond three Shortstop clips. Assuming perfect accuracy and firing intervals. And lol@linear regressions. ->Fail theory. Look I don't mind tackling the problem with math, but this clearly is not a good calculation. 6 Scattergun shots don't deal less than 200 damage at "midrange". You can see that in the relevant time period (~1 clip) for meatshots the Scattergun far exceeds the Shortstop. So your spreadsheet actually "shows" the opposite of what you're trying to tell us. Also, the scout is the king of choosing when to fight. While the SS does kinda allow you to keep the pressure on, that's such a minor benefit when you are applying the pressure. More burst damage is better on the scout and the scatter gun has that (as your graph enforces.) |
