Look I don't mind tackling the problem with math, but this clearly is not a good calculation. 6 Scattergun shots don't deal less than 200 damage at "midrange". You can see that in the relevant time period (~1 clip) for meatshots the Scattergun far exceeds the Shortstop. So your spreadsheet actually "shows" the opposite of what you're trying to tell us. This. All that matters is that the scatter kills you faster up front. Once the person is dead, I don't care about how much other damage I can do and have fast I can do it.

Also, the scout is the king of choosing when to fight. While the SS does kinda allow you to keep the pressure on, that's such a minor benefit when you are applying the pressure. More burst damage is better on the scout and the scatter gun has that (as your graph enforces.)
