I'm for it. I would have loved to have been able to track how long I played through the retail versions of Doom 3, Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil, and Heretic II over the last several months.

making sure this thread doesn't die come on valve its simple
when you add a non steam game have a folder in the steam folder lets say "non-steam-games" and when the user adds a game it creates a log file lets say <game title>.log or what ever method is used and i do know that it tracks games if i shift tab i see current session: Xminutes played last session: 0 minutes played so all that needs to be added is a log file for it Last edited by killernat: 09-08-2012 at 08:27 AM. |

I'm using Raptr. Its interface is handy than Xfire. It proves tracking non-steam games playing time is not difficult technically.
